I don't listen to talk radio and I'm not close to Knoxville. What's the overall attitude of the fans regarding the new coach?

Do most people think he can do the job? Are they positive about the hire?
If they aren't, they had best get that way. It's hard enough in the SEC without a bunch of goobers whining about you all the time.

Depends on who you talk to. A bunch are pissed off at Hart for letting all the big fish get grabbed up and settling for another second tier hire.
Just as many are pleased that we finally have a coach.
Personally, I think we have another 3 years and looking for another coach cycle ahead of us.

Towards the new coach? I'll give him a chance. I don't know enough about him to hate him this quickly. Then again, I said the same for Dooley.
Towards Dave Hart? I hope he retires quickly before the money people get any more pissed at him.

One radio talk show was having callers grade the coaching hire (A through F). They were all over the board.
I think the Gruden bandwagon was upset and the normal fans are going to give him time and see how it plays out. Most of the fans had the hire about a C or C+
