Me too. Savage. I accidently grabbed the 25-06 instead of the 223 once. Went with it anyway. That thing thumps them hard with a 117gr Hornaday Interlock BTSP. Hope you aren't planning on keeping the fur.

I aint got a 25-06 but I have killed several with my 257 WBY MAG. It usually leaves a nice baseball to softball size hole in em with a 100gr NBT.
