I don't shoot them but would also be interested. They are frequently available on the "blem" market.

That's why i am hoping for good results lol my 300 seems to like the silver bt's and at $15 a box that's half off everywhere else. I ordered 6 boxes for it now just gotta find brass and im set for it. Im wanting to find a nosler load all my rifles like and get about 1000 rds for each and have them on stand by lol

From what I have read on them, max velocities are lower on the e-tips, as they build more pressure at lower powder charges, or something like that. They are guilding metal (a copper/zinc alloy that is harder than pure copper) without a lead core, so they do not "give" as much in the rifling. This is the reason that Barnes (copper) and Hornady (guilding metal) use relief rings, to help relieve the pressure and reduce fouling from all of the metal contact. Hornady advertises that you can use the same reloading recipe in most cases with their GMX bullets that is used with a load developed for the SST.

With that said, I have no personal exp with them, but have done some research on them in the past. I almost started using them in my .270, but opted for the Accubond when I saw the real world velocities were decreased from the NBTs. BTW, Nosler reccomends starting with a much lower powder charge for the e-tips for this same reason.
