Big game hunting? Varmint/Predator hunting? Tacticool? or SHTF/ZOMBIES/EOTW scenario rig?
Lotsa different ones available now IMO Daniel Defense, DPMS, RRA or box stock Colt. For that money you could get one gigged up for most anything.

I was fixing to post the same thing before I saw this. I dont need an AR or truly want one for a specific purpose, but in case I would like to have one on the near future, I am gonna get one for christmas, so thanks for posting, I was looking at the colt myself.

Prices have gone UP and the guns on hand is LOW. People sold tens of thousands of those things over the weekend and now a lot of places are out of stock and prices are raising.

take a look at some of the ones made by Ruger.. they are pretty sweet and I hear they shoot well. Ruger makes an R5 (I think?) that is chambered in 7mm08. If I had the cash I would buy that thing! Could be a good deer rifle or could be quiet as a mouse with subsonic loads.

we have more than enough gun laws but when are they going to be enforce instead of making law that are not enforced?
