You gave me a link to Bud's guns in another post.
I assume you have used them before?
If so, how do you buy from them? Place your order and then provide an FFL number of a dealer in your area?

you order the gun from them and pay them and they have a list of FFL holders they will ship to,,you pick up your gun there and he will do background check and charge you a fee to do the transfer.unless you live in Ky you wont pay taxes,
if the FFL you use is not on their list you have to have him send Buds a copy of their FFL before they will ship..
it is way more easy than it sounds,,I have never had any trouble with Buds

I order guns all the time, it is getting to be my preferred way to buy anymore. Like he said it is easier than it sounds. My guess is 95% or more of FFL holders have their ffl on file with Buds. Just call the FFL in your area you are wanting to use and make sure they have it there on file (and is current) and let them know you will be having a gun come to them for you, so when it arrives they know who it belongs to.

Easy to deal with buds. Just like mr big said if your FFL dealer is not on their list (they're posted online) have yours send them a copy. That's what I did the first time I bought from them. Never had an issue.
