I last dipped on 11/23/03. Spent 11/24/03 in hospital ER with broken tooth and hole opened up around my gum at the tooth from dipping.
11/25/03 I gave a oral surgeon $230 to remove what was left of the tooth and give me some pain meds.
That afternoon I handed my can of Skoal Wintergreen Longcut to my sons and told them to toss it.
Never looked back .

I quit back in March due to 4th sinus surgery and now after the 5th surgery, I'm still done. I wish I was the type that could take a pinch here and now occasionally, but if I did that, I will back on it full bore. I loved me some copenhagen. Whats helped me the most is not being around smokers or dippers that much now. Takes the pressure off! Good luck with it. It as a tough road.

Havent had one in 1 year and 9 months. Bad thing is I still crave one or ten everyday!!!20 plus pounds later Im still glad I did

I played baseball in college with a guy whose dad was an oral surgeon. Listen to some stories and see a few pics and you'll throw it all away quick. Haven't touched it in 20 years.

Dipped for 23 years, quit April 4th of this year. Sucked on sunflower seeds till I was raw, but it worked! Thought I would really struggle when deer season rolled around, but it ain't been bad at all. The key is you really got to want to quit. If you try it half hearted it ain't gonna work.
