Devin-not paranoid at all. Just what i have heard and read. A co-worker went just last week to walmart. He bought a 500 round box of 22 rounds to go out and shoot with his boys for target practice. He said the register beeped and the clerk asked age and if they were for a pistol or rifle. He said rifle but they were for his pistol. Lots of big box stores turn over their records to fbi. They track ammo sales and gun sales. If you pay with your plastic your on someones list. If you smoke and buy cigarettes with your plastic, and you tell the doctor and your life insurance you dont smoke, they can easily find u are lying. Computers have made it so easy to sort and compile data.

All I know is if they can tap into my trucks black box I,d probably be locked up. No limiter on it and some long drives to races on some back highways I have had a tendency to let the hammer down

just guessing here but don't you have to be 21 for handgun ammo and 18 for rifle ammo. They ask my date of birth no matter where I buy ammo except dicks and the girl there just puts one in ???

Devin.

Ha ha....Whos the fool now?

The insurance company wants access to that information. Why? Because they will CHARGE YOU MORE if you ever exceed the speed limit, if your average speed for the miles you drive is high they will figure you are a habitual speeder. (highway drivers are screwed) Cha ching.... hello higher insurance rates or they drop you all together.

Insurance companies and the government are a big difference you might say? Really? Who do you think WROTE Obummacare?
When the gubment has finished killing off the PRIVATE insurance companies and we are all stuck with a Government plan..... How do you think the black box information will be used?

There are more sinister ways that a tracking device on your personal private vehicle can be misused as well.

Read my signature.

Take the tens if not hundreds of millions of cars, multiply that by the billions of miles driven in a year. As powerful as you think the government is, there are not enough supercomputers and government workers to do anything with all that information when it comes down to linking your driving habits with you as an individual. At the best any info will be used for figuring and applying fault for accidents.

Lets see. Mandatory auto inspections for registration renewal every year. They already Hook up to the computer on your car.

A small programming addition to their computers and you have instant download of any "important" data.
Print out inspection report that goes with you to your county clerk. Super easy to print an extra line or two of "data" on your report.

All that is necessary is for your insurance company to require a copy of that report and badda bing! Big government has just handed the monster mega insurance companies an excuse to charge you extra on your insurance.

Incremental intrusion is the government way. If you don't see what's happening, you aren't paying attention so don't complain when you awake from your dream and find yourself without control of your own life. Don't say it can't or won't happen. The have-nots are in control in case you slept through that too.

First of all I am no fool. Their is no way their ever gonna just tap in your care an see what your doing an not doing UNLESS you do something wrong, which I YOUR own fault. I think its a good thing to help prevent insurance fraud,it happens all the time an thats what causes the people who abide by laws an are honest people to pay more for insurance. If your going 90mph an not wearing a seat belt an crash its your fault because all roads have a speed limit and its way less than 90mph. So I dont think that the insurace companies should have to pay for that, but your doing the speed limit minding your own business an get side swiped by someone then it comes into YOUR favor becasue they have no choice to pay because the little black box saved the day. As far as the goverment knowing how much an what kinda ammmo im buying who cares I have nothing to hide and if they wanna spend time watching me they are more than welcome to. I HAVE NOTING TO HIDE FROM ANYONE,but it makes me think that the people who dont want them to know is doing something they shouldnt............GOODDAY.

Dont't need no stinking 4th amendment. If you do nothing wrong they won't bother you.

Good job. Way to preserve them liberties!!!:
