me and my buddy ae looking to fishing by old hickory dam tomarrow on the hendersonville side (rain or shine) we were gonna try for anything catfish,bass,sauger what would you think would be biting the best with warm rainy conditions and what bait

bring some crappie jigs or rooster tails and find the skipjack, usually they are near the generators somewhere. well I haven't fished for em this time of year but I have had good luck with them in the summer. They make a great cut bait and usually one skipjack will make a lot of steaks for bait. Also what hvacmd said, I have not tried it, but a buddy of mine was fishing down there one day and some guy had a bunch of shiners, stonerollers, etc that he cast netted in a creek and was catching a lot of fish on them.
