They are already there on most cars. They protect the manufacturer from lawsuits. Amazing the data that they record.

Might be but they ain't in my 69 F-100, take that 0BOMA, man the world is turning into the old USSR. Commonist country, thats were we going,no guns, then the sky is the limit on what else, sad folks just flat out sad!

Socialism at its best. I best homeland security can track where you drive if you have gps or northstar in your vehicle. Thats why i drive a 16 yr old car. They trend data. There is so much they track that we dont know about. Buy ammo with cash only. They are watching who is buying what. That's how they track criminal activities and terrorism. It does help keep us safer i guess. But kind of an invasion of freedom. Just saw about the black box thing on nbc nightly news

If the car companies want to put them in every car that's fine but it should not be mandated by the Gov.

Ok, it takes kids about 12 hours to crack the latest encryption on an I phone and "unlock" them.
Shouldn't we get a couple high schoolers working on cracking the "black box" ?
Make a heck of a company. Stealth car.com or something like that. Make a plug in swap out for the black box. Car still runs but no big brother.

A little paranoid arent we? But then again the goverment is probally watching us now on tndeer trying to find out who owns what kinda guns.....haahahaha paranoid people crack me up. If the federal goverment is watching me I bet there bored outa their minds. I bet thats goes for 99% of Americans. But I guess those kinda paranoid people keeps bomb shelter salesman in business....haha
