Why would one plug in my garage just go out?

Could be a number of things.

Loose connection at outlet

Bad Receptical/worn out

Broken wire (mice chew them up)

If wired in a series could be a loose connection at the outlet feeding this one.

Check for voltage at the wires feeding it and see if you at least have power coming to it

Alot of the time its beause it is backfed rather than taking the time to strip and wrap the wire around the screws on the outlet. it may be a upstream outlet that has lost connection. I have never been a fan of the backfeeding of outlets because of the problems caused by poor connections from doing so.But I am sorta old school I guess.

Its not a GFL outlet. I reset all the GFL outlets in the house anyway and still no power. ???

go to the one on the same wall or atleast same room on both sides of the outlet that isnt working and see if they are.. if its the only one not working that narrows the problem down

It is the only plug on that wall. Everything else on adjoining walls(well throughout the whole house) is working.
