jump in the mighty mississippi and clean yourself I was amazed to find out that was illegal a few years ago. Rumor or fact?
I know people who have swam across the river in the vicinity of Memphis, one even wrote a article about it.

Saw one more 9 killed this morn... Should go around 140", 5.5" bases. Haven't heard if any of the bucks wounded last night were recovered
New spot this eve...fingers crossed

Mainframe 10 with a bunch of trash just checked in...one of the highest scoring 3.5 yo's i've ever seen. Officers are out now looking for a 10 shot late this eve...good blood initially, then hunter lost the trail. Here's to hoping they find him!
My new spot was pretty good. Saw 13 does/ fawns feeding hard all after 4pm. 5 of them were literally right under my stand. May have to give that spot another try in the morn, hoping a good buck comes by with all the does in the vicinity.

i have a few customers on the island... one said that shortly after the flood a barge dropped a load of ethanol and they had several nice bucks they found floating. not sure how much truth is in that though.
