Thats cool that he hunted with. I guess I understand the univ. It belongs to them and if he jacked it up I guess someone would have to fix it or replace it. College kids are poor so it may be the univ. Or he could could accidentally load it... Although the reason prob has more to do with not wanting to offend the sissy azz world that can't accept hunting.
To me it was cool they actually used it other than as just a prop and its a shame the tradition has to end. Mountaineers is sposed to hunt.

The school's right on this one. He wouldn't be allowed to drive a "company" car for personal trips, he shouldn't be using the "company" flintlock to hunt.

I understand why this is a problem for the University, BUT.... it's dang cool and it would be awesome if WVU had the balls to say "Screw you, We're from WV." If they did that, I would have increased respect for them. As much as I pick on UT, you have to hand it to them: A fight song that includes a line about killing a revenue agent..... Pretty cool in my book.
