Not all timing chains have tensioners. Also, some timing belt can make a whizzing sound if tightened to much. Best thing to do is get somebody that is familiar with that setup and knows what they are doing so it is fixed right the first time. Mistakes can result in a new engine for you.

Well, it's "ticking", not "whizzing"  and this one does have a Chain and does have tensioners.. I do agree you need to take it to someone who's worked on this before if at all possible but if not, you'll have to take the best of what's available

Dealership said they think I'm going to have a new engine! No good! Said they don't think it's getting oiled properly. I have plenty of oil in my car done checked. Got it at another place getting one more opinion on it.

So we've went from a timing chain/water pump to low oil pressure? Glad your getting a second opinion!

Your timing chain tensioner uses oil pressure for the tension. It is like a little hydraulic cylinder. So what you hear maybe the chain slapping the guide. But could also be rod knock.
