I shot a good buck this morning and found good blood. After tracking him for 50 yards I went back to the truck and waited an hour. I was using a 300 wby so the deer shouldnt have went 5 yards. went back and found more blood but this time with lots of bone busted up. still no deer after 400 yards. Were in the world could i have hit that deer and can he be found?

Busted bone plus running 400 yards after been hit with a high powered rifle sounds like a leg shot to me, most likely non-fatal, at least in the near term. Best of luck in your quest to find him.

Maybe you took out the bottom of the shoulder blade, had this happen before. I was going to offer my beagle to help track him, but I am in Blount County right now

Leg shot.
I doubt shoulder blade given you were shooting a 300 Weatherby... it should have still done enough damage at impact to cause severe trauma.
