Question about permanent kill tags

After i fill my freezer i take deer for people that arent able to and was wondering who would keep the permanent kill tag. It was on a four point that i shot and im keeping the horns and there getting the meat.

It doesn't matter. The one that doesn't keep the tag should have the tag number in case there are any questions.

Are we suppose to keep the tags after we process the deer? opps  I never have once i cut it up and it is in the freezer.
