Last week I had to go to Verizon to check out my phone that stopped working for the 5th or 6th times since I have had it, but that is another story. This has to deal with the proceedure you have to go through to get replacement.
How do you fight this when you have to follow Verizon Protocol for exchange?
YOu go to Verizon they do their diagnosis and has FEDEx ship you a replacement (I did not say new one)
You get the replacement you get it activated and you have to remember all that you have to put back on the phone, that is if you can.
You ship it back via FEDex. Which I did on last Thursday Nov 30 at a drop off box around 8:30 am.
I get a text on Tuesday the 4th that my account may be charged if we do not receive said phone. I call fedex and they do not have any record of it. I even checked online tracking and Nothing.
I even got a call from the driver that picks up at that location and he said he never scanned the box.
Well Tuesday night I get another text stating that the packages is on its way and was picked up or scanned on the Nov 30 at 5:30 pm. What the hell.
Now my question: How do you fight this if your package is not received and your having to follow Verizons protocol in exchanging products via FedEx and not at the store?

I had the same thing happen to me and if I am not mistaken you have actually thirty days before they charge you. I called Verizon and explained to them that I had been working or something and had not had time to get the phone activated. Thats when the lady said if not mistaken they wait thirty days to charge you. She said they just send the messages to get the phone back ASAP, hope this helps.

Keep up with tracking numbers and do not use a drop box. Take it inside and get a receipt. Had this happen to me a few years ago. At one time there were 3 phones floating around and verizon wanted me to pay for them.
