Local Kroger has them $1.98 for 2 C's or D's. AAs or AAAs also on sale. Sale ends Saturday.
Can't find anything close to that on the web.

My wife told me about this and actually had coupons on top of it. So I have a nice stash of Cs and Ds for the cameras...
