I have been at it hard and still seeing groups of does and small bucks. What is everyone else seeing?

(Haywood) The same. I've yet to see "rut activity" this year. I killed a button buck and two does opening morning of rifle. The button buck had almost black glands. He was gettin bit by the oldest doe I shot but was playing more than "chasing". Since then I've killed one more button buck. No black at all on him. Warm weather patterns has got to be throwing them off.

Wednesday morning in mid-west Hardeman County saw no bucks at all. One pair of does walking around leisurely, and another smaller solitary doe that my friend jumped up.
Saw a LOT of rubs, but they didn't appear to have been made all that recently.
I will say that this is the first time I have hunted that particular property, so I don't really know if that much sighting is high/low for it. Given the amount of deer sign, it seemed light.

Ive given up on Haywood for the year, seeing way more deer in Hardeman.
