KY gun season is a fading nightmare and luckily there are still some shooters left on at least 1 property I hunt.

For the 4th year in a row I am still looking for my KY buck. I haven't really passed a buck I wish I would have shot, it just didn't come to be yet. My time has been limited.

I have located these two (from the same spot!) over the past week. I moved a stand into the area Sunday.

Either will suit me fine.

Buck 1 (The Highline 9)

Those brows!

Buck 2: just got his pics today...not named but dang!

I would take a leave of absence if I had those on my trail cam. And, every gun shot I heard from the stand no matter how far away would take my breath and I would die a little inside.

That last buck is an old beast.

My dad, little bro, and myself were all fortunate to take good bucks in Ky this yr. 3 of 5 shooters we had on cam. Had several 120's that would have got a pass if we would have seen them.

Still running my cams to see what made it and what new bucks have showed up to get ready for next year.

Hope you get one of them, there all great bucks.

Congrats. I've had a tough season by buck standards this year but not does. Seen probably 6 shooters across 2 states but no shots. Only got to hunt KY 1 day with a gun. Actually 1 morning.

You really think he is old? I can't decide. His body doesn't look that big and neck wise he doesn't compare to the 9 pt.

I think he might just be a stunner 3.5.
