Anyone been catching em and what are they hitting? I'm wading around here with a fat Albert which works very well in some instances but no bites yet today.

Cool. I fished the piney for a little while yesterday. Besides bluegill I caught a rock bass and baby smallmouth on a gold trout magnet. I need to get some more jig heads and curl tail grubs though. Only grubs I have are zoom fat Alberta which I will use when the water goes up. And I'll have to get a couple more rooster tails too.

I hate to give away secrets but... A spider slider head rig with a grub is my go to bait on the river when wading. It doesn't get hung up in the rocks or brush. Add a root beer or chartreuse grub and you're set. Just stay out my holes!

I use the 1/8 or 1/4 oz head according to where I am fishing and water depth. Don't just reel it straight back... Pump it a little. I've been sight fishing smallmouth that would let you just reel it by them all day and not bite... A few pumps and they kill it.

The spider slider heads are costly... But you don't loose them like regular heads since you rig it weedless.
