Paypal donation sent...Just a FYI. Paypal no longer let's you send a Gift for free. The one I just sent was charged a 4.1% fee. It was just over $1 so it wasn't a problem. They changed this several months ago.
Curious...What is the total amount that has been received so far?
That must depend on the type of account. Mine still sends as a Gift with 0 charge

I was told by his sister that he wanted to be a man of God when he grew up, I'm not sure what faith he is but he wanted to spread the word of God. She told me the other day since their dad's passing he has not mentioned anything else about that. maybe just maybe this will help get him back on track, and see just how much good is still left in this world! just an idea but i have seen some cool stuff done recently with people engraving bible verses in the stock of their gun. It is a very cool and beautiful sight to see. Shouldnt cost much to do if that is something that you think would be cool to add in.
Cool idea!

You are correct...My Bad. My Paypal account is linked to a credit card where I get bonus cash back at the end of each month for using it. I looked it up and if you do it straight out of your bank account or your Paypal balance there is no charge.

I agree.. I'd put any Savage above a 710 or 770 based on what I've read/heard.
Slaughter we're with you buddy - whatever route you take will be fine!

I've not heard good things about the 770 either. My vote would be get the kid something that is proven like a Rem 700 or Savage if we can afford it.
