Found a plastic bin with a few useful items that had been abandoned in the woods, probably by some kids or something. The machete was rusted up but mudbone and I sanded it down and resharpened the blade.

Will get much good use out of these. Geezer if you ever need your bow saw back I have backup now...

If that came from the area I think it might have, not too far off I was arrowhead Huntin the river and saw a metal box up in the woods and had to investigate and it was full of similar items! I came back months later and it was still there only filled with water and everything was rusting so I did the same and rescued it all. I looked like an old fort had been built and blown down and trees chopped down all over. I can't help but think that the same tribe had left mine and your find stashed and I bet somewhere close there are some angry dads wondering where the heck there screwdrivers, saws & axes had gone!!!

it's not the first time I've seen junk left by kids in the woods. Seen lots of "forts" or hideouts with tarps, tools, etc. this one just he opened to have some useful stuff. One time, in one of said fort areas, I found a couple of lawn chairs with some duct tape and plastic bottles put together to make some sort of bong. They had even left cigarette tobacco as fake evidence.... Like that's what they were really smoking...

found something similar on Norris lake this year floating in the middle of the lake in a plastic box. Brand new tools wrenches, srewdrivers, and a socket set.
