I can chip in a custom paracord rifle sling if you think he might like that. Just let me know the colors he might like. Maybe his favorite teams colors or something.

Before we compromise, why not this:
If the $ gets right it would be nice to get him a top notch rig - provided that is what he wants. (Model 700 or better) Slaughter - If we get within 100 bucks or so of something REALLY nice for this kid post that up - we'll anny up more if need be

I was willing to go around $200.00 on a clunker just to get him in the woods before he wound up on the streets. Then you great men jumped in! My first thought was to just get someting close to what his dad had But I see no reason not to get the best we can afford for him. something he will keep for the rest of his life someting to make a lasting impression on him since he doesn't have his father to do it for him.
