Congrats wes
Our camp had, and is still having tough hunting conditions, not just in Illinois, but evertwhere from South Ga to Illinois.
I was blessed over and over, like you, this season. As was my son.
But most of us have had to dig deep, again.
Heat, water, wind, and no daylight movement coupled with TONS of food have made things tough for everyone.
I have yet to see a chase. Not one.

Great Job Wes!! Wish i could of been there to high five you bud. If it hadn't been for certain curcumstances i would of been. Way to hang in there bring home a trophy! Given the opportunity i'll see you next year at camp :).

This was the only buck I actually got to see chase a doe but honestly I think she ran off the ridge for some reason and he had no choice but to follow her out into the field. All of the bucks we saw between 6 of us were either alone and cruising. We never saw the 1st shooter chase a doe, I hope this was just an off year up there
