Ok fellas may be thinking a lil to far ahead but my neighbor is taking me duck hunting for my first time.ever in a blind this weekend, so just in case i get lucky woukd like to know a good taxidermist around the roane.county area

Good luck this weekend. Prepare to get hooked!
One thing to remember, you want to take care of a bird you're gonna get mounted. Keep it clean, dont hold it by the neck, and put it in plastic (try to get all the air out) if it's not going directly to the taxi. Some people will slide the bird into an old pantyhose leg to keep the feathers clean and in place, but be sure you put plastic over it to keep it from drying out.
If you can wait til Jan, the birds will be better plumed and you'll get a better quality mount, but if you get one you want the first time out, put it on the wall.
