Saw two big Tom turkeys on the way to work today strutting. I don't know much about turkeys , but is the common in the fall ?

Yes they will strut year round to show dominance....gobblers will try to keep the pecking straight year round.

Yep, I saw one about 2 weeks ago strutting in a picked corn field while driving to work.

Saw a flock of bout 10 longbeards Monday with most of them strutting. Figure they was figuring out dominance.
