New to Tn, Landowner exemption ?'s

1) If you are except from buying a license how do you tag your deer?
2) If you qualify under the landowner exemption are there any additional days you can kill does or are you subject to the same doe day restrictions as those how have to buy a license.
I am asking this for a friend who is hunting on his father's land and he has read something that lead him to believe he can shoot does anytime under a landowner exemption.

1. You don't tag the first deer. When you check it in you will have a temporary tag for the next, and have to meet all tagging requirements from that point on.
2. You friend is incorrect. The landowner exemption only applies to being exempt from license requirements. It carries NO extra priveleges dealing with bag limits or seasons.
