Just sent a little something via PayPal. I was told by his sister that he wanted to be a man of God when he grew up, I'm not sure what faith he is but he wanted to spread the word of God. She told me the other day since their dad's passing he has not mentioned anything else about that. maybe just maybe this will help get him back on track, and see just how much good is still left in this world!

Ruger just sent me a text paypal just hit $845 I still have my donation to give as well. I want to thank everyone for helping this young hunter be able to stay woods and follow in his dads foot steps and dreams.
I think we have enough money to ease this young hunters pain a little and put a smile on his face and a little warmth back in his heart.
Thank you all for helping me help my lost friends son. You guys are the greatest!
Loss of words for what it means to me. I can't wait to see the happiness it brings to him!

That is awesome slaughter. That doesn't include checks in the mail either right? We can't replace his father but hopefully bring a smile to his face and remind him, and us too, that there still are a lot of good folks in this world.

Ahh the Christmas spirit. Best of all I think it would be the same outcome if this was going on in July. I have never met anyone from this site but I am sure I will. With all of the generosity going around I think I'll stick around a while. Not just donations but advice and knowledge that everyone shares is priceless. I hope the gifts this man will be receiving will open him up to see that the world is a good place with good people. Thanks to all.

Has anyone check with the police to see if the father's weapon can be returned??? We have many law inforcement officer on this forum. By rights the boy should have inherited his pa's weapon.

Not sure of the details as to why the guns were taken, I doubt the police would even talk to an out sider about it.
