Mark was gracious enought to let me and FIL come out Thanksgiving weekend and spend a few hours in the woods. I havent been back out since I sprayed and topdressed the corn back in May/June. I have to say for a drought year, it didnt turn out have bad. [img] [/img]

Deer have been hammering these small plots of WI clover/chicory and alot of the oats had reseeded from last fall. [img] [/img] [img] [/img]
Just some shots from my post... [img] [/img] [img] [/img]

Thanks for the photos Justin! Glad you and the FIL had a good time, looking forward to getting home in a few weeks and doing some hunting!!! Plan to spend my first day back on the tractor, bushhogging some shooting areas out of the corn

I agree, I've been looking forward to getting home to hunt it for months now - I knew I would not be back until Dec, so I thought corn would be a good late season food source.
Depending on how things go in a meeting tonight between my company and the Army I might even be able to be home as early as next Monday. My vacation doesn't start until Dec 19th, but if they don't figure things out I already asked if they cared if I took an extra nine days since I have the vacation time for it and the site lead said he didn't have a problem with it. I'll know for sure tomorrow!!!
