Can you tell if this is the same buck? At first glance the dead buck looks much bigger but after zooming in on the trail cam pic I'm not so sure.

Hard to tell with 2 different views like that. If you had a side view like the trail can picture be a little easier to tell..

doesn't the deer in the trail cam pic have a split G2 on his left side? did the dead deer have a split G2? I can't tell...

Id say not the same because the trailcam buck's right main beam looks straight as the harvested buck's right beam looks like it curves. but again it is hard to tell.

Unfortunately, these are the only two pics I will probably ever have. He was killed Saturday on the property next door to us and I don't know the guy that killed him.
