Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy, who had spoken to Arkansas and Tennessee about their openings, will remain with the Cowboys, sources told ESPN.
Gundy received a four-year contract extension last year, increasing his deal at Oklahoma State to eight years. In 2011, the Cowboys had the best season in school history (12-1), finishing No. 3 in The Associated Press Top 25 poll.
Gundy leaving Oklahoma State always seemed like a stretch, but reported disagreements over scheduling philosophy have caused conflict and made for a nervous week in Stillwater

UT needs to figure out what the best coach in the country is Pro or College and then sell their cars and houses and pay them whatever they want to come to UT ..... with every offer that is made and turn do less and less coaches will want to come...

With Arkansas pulling a curveball IMO, I wonder if we're talking with a coach that's still in the mix and one that hasn't even been mentioned. If Strong, Patterson, Petersen are out. How about O'Brien from Penn State. Guy took a down program and had a good season.
