Truck blinker issues for a Toyota Tacoma.. help

ok so I will start off I am a goober, and shouldnt have done what I did. Anyways...
2001 tacoma Front blinker bulb blew. Put in new buld. Realized if I wiggled the bulb much it would quit blinking. Too much give in bulb socket. Anyways went for a couple days worked fine. THen started acting like it was blown. It wasn't just shifted and not a good connection.
I thought I could put a little aluminum foil around end of buld for better connection. Now NO blinkers.... Fuse is good. Bulbs seem good.
All lights work but now neither blinker works and before one did and the other had a rapid blink from the "blown bulb"..
Ideas?

you might have toastered the relay... I do know that there is a reallly good Toyota Tundra forum.. (not sure of the address but a friend is on it all the time). I am sure they could help

Do you hear the flasher relay clicking anymore? Check fuse for 4 way flashers as well.................

No, no blinking noise. I believe the 4 way flashers is on the same fuse. I didnt see anything else on the panel.

Stik's will quick flash sometimes. It's a loose wire that is a pain to get to.

Problem solved! I bought the truck used and rebuilt. No service manual. The guide in the truck was evidentally incorrect. I pulled every fuse to recheck and found one blown. Flipped fuses and the blinkers are back on. Simply problem. Now I just need to find print and tape on to fuse box a diagram for future reference.
