A guy at work just got a trifecta for his seven year old boy. He has only had it long enough to sight in, but he said it shoots well.

I have the .243. I put a red dot scope on it because my daughter is wrong eye dominant and very hard headed! This way she has plenty of eye relief, although it is at the expense of magnification. Of course, this limits her to shots under 100 yds, which is a good thing until she becomes more proficient with a gun.

I will probably sell hers after this season, she has simply outgrown it.

My newphew had one his grandmother bought him, it locked up on him at the range this year and a locl shop told him the firing mech. was broken and it would have cost more to repair it than it was worth. Grandma bought him an A bolt for Christmas and gave it to him early. Happy Happy Happy.

I bought my daughter 1 2 years ago. We love it. It is the .243 and 20 gauge. She has shot 2 deer with it and i have shot 2 as well. She is growing up though. She has been eye balling my bolt action but i'm not budging. HAHA. Well not for a while anyways. Great Gun in my opinion.

I bought a trifecta a few years back and the .22 is a tack driver but the .243 is not so great if you shoot 2 or more times within a few minutes of each other it starts scattering
