Myself and 2 friends want to put together a duck hunting trip. I have always wanted to do some duck hunting, and have convinced them they have too. We are thinking of making a trip to reel foot. I have another friend who goes to stugart AR. Thinking that might be a little much for the first trip. Can any of you make any recommendations? We are all law enforcement and former military. We aren't trying to break the bank just want a good hunting trip and understand you get what you pay for too. This could turn into a yearly trip. Thanks fellas.

black jack pocket on reelfoot is a pretty good one, just had some of my group come back from there this weekend, they did pretty good to be 65 outside.

Well if you don't want to go to the far end of the state.... you can look up Fullers Hill..... the place is located in Humphreys County.
They have two large pits with crops and ponds on private property with the National Refuge in front and below the hill.... The last price for a hunt I know of was $100 per day.
As with ANY hunt, it all depends on the temps and birds in the area.

This guy runs a pretty cool rig. Honest man when it comes to setting up a hunt and duck reports on the FOOT. Hunted with him last year a day before seasons end with about 6 birds each of the two days. Those were the only birds that we had around and he called them in. Huge blind with nice lodge to boot. Hope to make it back this year.

Head to northern Manitoba where the snow geese come off the tundra to chow down in the pea fields.
You should get your 40 birds in 20 minutes.

I have friends that drive across from N.D. into Canada to hunt snow geese. They whack'em and stack'em like nobody's business. I've seen pic's and it's amazing at the numbers they kill.
