Been looking at reviews on line and some love them and some hate them... bad enough to try and return them.
Who has one and what do you think?

I've heard the same.. Some on here that had problems - and some who love them.

i had a .243 rossi and it would do sub 1" grps at a 100 and could hit coke cans at 300..

I asked some of the local guys at dicks and academy about the Rossi matched pair and Trifecta.
They said at least with the Matched pair that some people had had issues, but not as much with the Trifecta. they did mention they did not sell many Trifectas.
I have been thinking about getting one for my son to use when he gets older, but am hesitant, because I don;t want to have issues with it.

DH- do you have a 223 or 243? Did you mount a scope on it?

We have a Rossi 20 gauge/ .308 combo. It's a good 100 yard gun but past that it sprays bullets everywhere. My son killed 6 or 7 deer with it before I upgraded him. You get what you pay for. He killed his first longbeard with the 20 gauge barrel. Don't get it anywhere near rain or moisture. The bluing is terrible.

We bought two for the kids - DeerOps and I both love them because they are light and can carry good if you like to "stalk" and these two are dead on.

Bought one onTndeer classified couple weeks ago for my granddaughter ! Scoped the 22 , she is dead on and loves it, I sighted in the 243 but she hasn't shot it yet . Worked well for me . Great outfit. For a child for the $$ . Sell it and upgrade as they get older,,, if they still have the fever !
