What's some ideas to keep them away. I have a non hunting friend in sevier co and he's having trouble with them coming around his house. I asked him if he has outside pets and he said no . He is just noticing them coming around his house at night.

I've heard if they get pepper sprayed once they stay away just depends if he is brave enough.. if hes not i will

First, clean up all outside garbage. They usually have no problem tearing the screen off a window and can end up in your house.

Tell him to clean his grill! If he has a gas grill outside, they can smell it from a tremendous distance. During the fall when bears are in hyperphagy, they will investigate any possible food source.

lives up past city hall in gatlingburg , way up on the mountain. they do have this massive outdoor grilling pation thing. i'm sure what diehard says is right. probably the grill area.
