if you have never experienced the Hatchie Bottoms, it is a fine example of the beauty that is the Bottoms. Sloughbeds, giant cypress trees, nestled in patches of cane breaks and oak ridges....the club has done a good job keeping all the areas assessible and in most cases the roads are fine for wheeler riding. I've spent most of my life in the Hatchie area and this stretch of Bottom is one of the prettiest examples. There is another area north of the interstate between exit 52 and 56 that is more open with bigger trees due to the lack of timber cutting that is absolutely amazing....or it was the last time I was down there, but that was quite a few years ago.....
everyone should spend a few days in the Bottoms.....if for no other reason than to clear your mind....
