I am sure this is a loaded (pardon the pun) question, but what is a goos muzzle loader to buy? I am talking package deal, stainless steel, 50 cal, synthetic stock.
I am not interested in interchangeable barrels.
I do like removable breech plugs.
Any ideas?

I would not consider anything other than a smokeless savage.. shot regular ml's for 25 years.. went smokeless and will never go back..

The Savage ML-II smokeless gets my vote as well. I can say without a doubt, purchasing a Savage smokeless is the BEST move, hands down, that I ever made when it comes to muzzleloading. Best of luck in your final decision.
