These dudes come to the acorn flats in the evening, are not in any kind of fence, blow at you the way a deer does and live in the hills of Bellevue.
Thems mustangs!

If it's anything like around here if you don't want a horse don't go to the monthly auction and bid on one. Horses are not cheap to keep up.

Since they shut down horse slaughter market horses are a dime a dozen and many folks are just turning them loose because they can't afford I keep them.

Co worker told me last week that there are two in his area near Spring hill that are running through fences' tearing crap up, and he fears they're gonna start messing with his horses. He isn,t sure what to do as animal control said they can't do anything and no one claims them. He said he'd like to just 30-06 them but he's been told that is illegal in TN and he just didn't want to have to do that unless they got to his horses. Says they'd be dang hard to impossible to catch because of the terrain and the fact they're wild as a buck. He's in a dilemma

Where is it illegal in tn to kill a horse? they are not wild they are just property if they are not his but if they are abandoned on his property and he kills them then he could face civil case if the owner finds out. I looked up the TCA one time when a animal control came out and said I had a horse that was not getting fed enough, it was a older horse and just did not keep weight on like others they had all the hay they wanted. When the lady pissed me off i put her in her place and said if she wanted I would go put a round in its head right now. She shut up after that, ever since I have never supported the humane society.

If it was causing trouble on my property, I would treat it just as I would treat any other anime causing trouble. SSS
