I am a new resident of Tn..I was wondering if there is somewhere I could canoe, fish, spring squirrel hunt, and camp...would like to plan a trip for the 2013 spring squirrel season...I have no idea where I could or even if I could combine all of these activities and do so within the law..could one of you TWRA fellows give me some info or maybe someone to whom I could talk to and try and make this happen this coming year...Thanks

What part of Tennessee? What kind of waterway?

The canoe and fish part is very easy to do. When you add the hunting and camping to it, it requires permission from the landowners along the stream. There are sections of some huntable Corp of Engineer land or TVA land on some of the reservoirs that would possibly work for something like that. And, John is correct that Percy Priest WMA would work if you are open for a lake and not looking to float a river.

Land Between the Lakes would offer all of these activities. Another option if you want flowing water, would be Big South Fork. Both of these places offer back country camping permits, they both allow hunting and fishing with the appropriate permits and both have water for canoeing and fishing.
