I would love to shoot a 5-6 inch 10 shot group at 500 yards, iron sights I believe you can do this..you just need a bull big enough to see. really nice shooting there today..  do you know how far the sight will go,,maxed out to the top how far will it zero??
over 1000 yards easily

I use 8 MOA size targets with the target sights on my Brno #4 22LR and at 300 yards I use 24 inch bullseyes,,
good luck and I will be watching for updates as you progress out to 500 and beyond.

I use 12 inch at 300, the guys out west just instructed me to go smaller

Its a globe with interchangeable inserts, I shoot a cross hair with center circle, about $80.00 from SHILOH SHARPS

I have an Anschutz Adjustable front on the #4 that is pretty awesome,,it is in mm instead of .0xx though,,it is adjustable from 1.8 to 4.3mm
I would really like a Sharps or even a quality knock off would suit me as long as it is accurate,,38-55 is what i want..

I would love to have a Shiloh 38-55 with a 34 inch barrel, but I will stick with the .40-65
