This is the second time in two days I have hears of someone getting screwed by a deer processor. I will never be taking any deer to be processed. It's time consuming but at least I know it my meat that I am eating. And if it gets screwed up it's my own fault.
I would definitely be taking them to small claims court. And do anything I'm my power to shut them down before they rip anyone else off.

I know its a drive for you in your area, but I would consider adams taxidermy in anderson co. I know its a drive, but a lot of guys from all over east tn use them. Because they make some of the best summer sausage and deer stick you will eat.

That kinda junk is one more reason why I built my own walk in .cheaper than you think . I take in a couple neighbors/ friends also. Especially hot as its been during bow season. Then I process my own and vacuum pack. As mike said its a pain but worth it. Anyone interested google. Cool bot ! It's the controller and you can use a. Room air conditioner . Had mine down to 35 degrees last week. Get two or three friends together and share the expense. if you have a building with electricity you can build in a day !

This did open up the conversation with the wife about meat grinders and a vacuum sealer. We'll see. I am hoping to take 1-2 more deer this year (was in the original plan).
