if you research panthers in tennessee or anything along those lines you will see tons of trail cam pics of big black cats around here. if you would of told someone 5 years ago there was bears in this part of the country they would have called you a dumb a$$ now its not unusual too see a bear on the drive to work everyday

if you capture a picture of a panther DO NOT post it because government agents will swarm your house and lock you in area 51 because of the cover up that is happening.... If by chance you do get the picture posted and they dont capture you it will just ruin Tndeer because no one will have anything to argue about.... well besides 1 buck limits

I'm going with black panter. As I understand it, TWRA stocked 20% black panthers when they started the cougar stocking program. A few are now starting to be reported by reliable persons.
Two were seen at Cheatham a week ago and one at Catoosa.

I love how these 2nd hand big cat sightings are always from people purported to be "Honest", "Trustworthy" "Avid Outdoorsmen", with "no reason to lie" or make things up etc.
Just once I want to hear "My drunk POS Uncle saw a black panther and shot the piss out of him, unloaded his magazine". He's been driving around for a week showing it off in the bed of his pickup. (followed by clear pictures and other supporting evidence)
No one ever shoots. If I see a black panther, a bigfoot, the Loche Ness monster, a Unicorn, Chubacabre, or a Leprechaun I promise you I am going to drag that sucker out of the woods.
