He/She/It does have a skinny neck but look how big the other parts of the body look? I can say every deer in velvet that I have seen checked in during this time of year were does, but it was only like two. I had an antlered doe killed off of our place 3 years ago, but she was out of velvet.

I'm in Fayette Co, did your uncle's buck show any signs of injury to his jewels??
Woodsman, u think his skinny neck could be bc he's not affected by the rut? Am I correct in assuming a hot doe trottin by prolly wouldn't peak his interest due to low testosterone? I appreciate y'all's help!

He said it had only one testicle and it was about the size of the end of your thumb.

Im not no deer biologist, but his/her neck does look skinny that of a doe would look. I would guess from lack of testosterone. But then again, wouldn't a doe have to have extra amounts of testosterone to grow antlers? I have heard that a buck sheds his anlters when his testosterone levels plummet. Is this a girly man or a manly girl?

Definitely not an antlered doe. In fact, that buck looks close to if not fully mature.
