I am sure this is a loaded (pardon the pun) question, but what is a goos muzzle loader to buy?
I am talking package deal, stainless steel, 50 cal, synthetic stock.

I am not interested in interchangeable barrels.

I do like removable breech plugs.

Any ideas?

If I were going to buy a regular black powder gun right now I think I'd go with the new Traditions Vortek Ultralight http://www.traditionsfirearms.com/product_info.php?products_id=57

I handled one at Bass Pro in Nashville and they are sweet handling rifles. Reviews on them are pretty good too. http://www.shootingtimes.com/2011/05/13/longgun_reviews_traditions_vortek_ultralight_rifle_051311/

If you're a little more open minded, Smokeless is the only way to go. Savage ML-II and be done with it.

The Savage ML-II smokeless gets my vote as well. I can say without a doubt, purchasing a Savage smokeless is the BEST move, hands down, that I ever made when it comes to muzzleloading. Best of luck in your final decision.
