Bowriter - the doe's heart was jellied and the fawns lungs were jellied. Just aimed for the shoulder and squeezed em off, longer shot was around 50-60 yd range.
Carlos Viagra- I have needed a hair cut for weeks if not months but I've been putting it off mainly due to either being in the woods, at work or other responsibilities... I could just grow it out at this point but im sick of it all in my face lol

50' I've had a limb break at 18' No broken bones Accidents happen, but you shouldn't worry at your height, as long as your wills made out You probebly miss more stuff at that height than You see, bolts break, straps break, something happens, even with a safety harness your DOA or crippled for life
Bowriter said it all with one word

Basically I had never climbed higher than 25 feet, so I picked a tall tree and went as high as I could just because I wanted to see farther. Turns out BW is right, twigs and branches did get in the way but obviously it didn't hurt the two shots that put those deer on the ground... Now 50 ft is not going to be the norm for me, I just wanted to see how high I could get and have a good view of the woods.

I get nervous after 15'. Cool to see that you could do it. Congrats on your deer, you are on a roll! I hope to get my 2nd of the year/ever this week around Percy Priest. What would you have done if you fell out and were hanging from the tree at 50'?
