I'm crazy scared of heights so i get around 20' up if the tree allows if not 15' is where i stop at... how high do you guys go?

about the same here. Not crazy scared of heights, just not comfortable in something hanging on the side of a tree.

For years I used to hunt at 22-25 feet exclusively. Then i started hunting at 15 feet and killed just as many if not more deer than at the higher elevations. I came to the conclusions that a great camo pattern (realtree ap), scent reducing carbon clothing, keeping all movements to a minimum and hunting with the wind in my face was much more important than hunting height.

Bow season I stay 15-20 but gun season I get as high at possible without limbs blocking my view.

I go at least 25 Feet. That way I dont worry so much about all this stuff. I think it easier to go up another 10 feet than it is to remain constantly still and worry about the wind.

Around 20' on average. Sometimes higher and sometimes lower.
