UGA almost matched them blow for blow, but came up just short and ran out of time. No shame in that. One or two more plays made, or one or two less mistakes and it may have been a W instead of an L for them. I think that it is safe to say that they are very close to Bama's equal, but will play in some second rate bowl game after playing them almost to a draw.
I agree that it was a very good game.

Great game. I just told my wife here comes play action on the alabama td. When u can run like that its hard to defense. Nick has not been that great on the sideline this year for some reason. I cant wait to see if Bama can run on Notre Dames Great front 7 as Musberger says. Hey ND your gonna need more than 7 to stop that ground attack. Roll tide. Great game by Goergia.

I been telling everybody all week I thought Georgia was going to pull this off. Bama has had a realitively easy schedule this year, they ain't the team they were last year. But, it ain't over till its over!
I guess you will have to tell them you were wrong even until more than halfway through the game.
Easy schedule, that is funny. Typical hater blinded by orange and envy.

Heck of a game. Not sure why Georgia didn't spike it at the end instead of scrambling to get the play off.
Exactly.
Spike it and take two shots INTO the end zone, not one to the 3 and let time expire. Very poor coaching there.
Oh well, it was a great game. I'd hate to be a UGA fan and coming up that short.

The last play of the game was just one of those decisions all coaches have to make. Do you spike the ball and let bama regroup and give Saban time to think or do you hit them while you have them on their heels? Ball was tipped at the line. !#it happens
