im just stating the facts,the proof is in the picts and the 3 bucks we killed that went over 140+ off our property in nov.

I dont even hunt Tn much. Mainly because i dont have a solid place to hunt and i dont want to fork out the money for a lease. I have 6 acres i can hunt but you never know when my buddy will be on it with a rifle in bow, mz or rifle season so i just hunt it a few times a yr. The one and only time i did this yr was opening day of Tn and i killed a 132" 3yr old 11pt.

I hunt Ky all the time, actually own the place i hunt. I get pics of several 130-150s a yr but i dont post them on here and brag about Ky being a 1 buck state and how Tn should go to it or do other stuff different.

Just be glad there are deer in Tn and hunt the way you want. If you want a 1 buck limit, only kill 1 a year. You dont have to kill 3 just because your allowed to.

Dont sweat the small stuff in life, lifes to short for that. have fun and be happy ;\)

Thats easy for you to say, everybody can't hunt Kentucky. I bet if the olny place you had to hunt was in unit a or b of Tennessee you would be changing your tune.

I know people have alot of different opinions on how many bucks we can kill a season and honestly I would like the 1 buck rule. I know on my farms I have an abundance of small bucks and 2.5 year old bucks but not many mature bucks. i have a pic of 2 big bucks one prob 3.5 and the other atleast 4.5 and another farm we have I have had a sighting with what I call the TV deer biggest buck ive seen and I have only seen him twice one time during MZ about 3 years ago and once this year and he has to be 6.5 has to be . While we like the 3 buck limit we have leaned towards the 1 buck limit after seeing these big deer and have decided that on our farms its gotta be outside the ears and atleast 8 points. While that has been hard to do this year I have stuck to it and only killed one lil buck that was a 6 that was all busted and broken up and he had to 3.5 im almost certain. Yes other people around us might shoot smaller deer however we have decided not to . Might not see a giant for a while but Im 27 now and my dad is 50 and while we love killing deer we would love to get a monster to hang on the wall so we will do our part in culling does and select bucks but for the most part were only trying to take mature deer from here on out. . Yes I know alot of people dont have the luxury to do that. Just my 2 cents on the topic. If you want to see big deer let the lil guys walk to see another year

AMEN TERENCE!!!!! thats all it would take is a lil bit of discipline from everybodys part.I didnt mean to get everybody all jacked up on this subject i was venting a lil bit.My point was, why does anybody need to kill 3 bucks a year ,if you need meat in the freezer kill you a few big does and then set back and wait on that big buck

How bout guy #1 do what he wants on his land and guy #2 do what he wants on his land? Its a deer! Follow the laws set in place by TWRA and enjoy! If a guys shoots 3 spikes a year so be it. I

Well i am a meat hunter so what i want is for there to be more deer so i want to change the limits to 3 total does and 3 bucks a day. That wway we will have a lot of prego does to make more meat. Works in beef. You also dont allow bucks tell breading is done.
