Coming from karns, go north on oak ridge hwy to pellissippi pkwy. when you cross the lake, go where it says "bethel valley rd closed to thru traffic". continue on bethel valley through the red light for a few miles. The checking station will be on your left just before the guard portal. Stay on bethel valley. If you miss it, the guards will stop you. The checking station anf guard shack are within sight of each other.
Thanks, that was the way I had planned to go. Can you get to tower shielding that way on scout day because it sounds a no go on Hunt day.

I will show you how to get around to tower shielding, I hunt the west end. I will be in a maroon dodge ram with racks on top.

Meet up with diehard a moment this morning. Thanks. Checked out a ridge side for a bit and think I'm just gonna climb a stand up blindly on a tree in the area where I saw a little bit of sign. If I happen to hit one it will be a drag up some steep hillside. The reason I'm just gonna blindly to a tree next weekend is I'm slowly getting burnt out on deer for the season and starting to want turkey to hurry and get here. Good luck to all next weekend.
